Beaded Tribal Textile Patch Kuchi Traditional Beadwork with Gul Medallions (#8459)
Handmade, beaded, Kuchi tribal beaded textile with traditional motifs. This style of patch is commonly used on Kuchi clothing and adornment. About 3.5" tall x 14" long. There are two round medallions on each end, traditionally called "gul". This was removed from larger textile so there are stray threads and visible backing. No obvious flaws to note. Has a somewhat worn appearance due to age and use. The Kuchi are a nomadic people who travel between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
