Old Banjara Brass Flower Bud Bangle Bracelet Tribal Jewelry 7.25" HAND SIZE (#8424)
Heavy and old Banjara brass bangle. There are two flower buds on the end that are very worn down due to many year's of use. This is heavily aged and worn - how long does it take to wear down metal? - a long time! Solid cuff, not hollow. Inner circumference of 7.25". You need to slide this over your hand and onto your wrist or arm. As a result, your hand circumference can be no larger than 7.25" around. This weighs nearly 6 ounces. I am not sure which Banjara tribe this belongs to, as there are many. Similar to the term "Kuchi/Kochi", the term "Banjara" refers to a nomadic way of life and not a particular tribe. The metal is neither silver nor golden in appearance, but somewhere in between. This is an old, solid piece of jewelry and not a lightweight reproduction.
Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
