Talisman Earrings Combination of Silvers Tribal Flower Beads and Chamsa 2.75" Long (#8649)
These earrings are a fusion of different pieces - old and new, bright and muted, symbolic and obvious - I made these silver earrings from different kinds of silver. The wire hoops are made of 20 gauge .925 sterling silver wire. To each earring I added an old silver bead with a flower on both sides and then attached two petite stylized chamsa dangles. The beads, dangles, and even the link that connects them are made of .90 silver. They have a patina that shows their age. The ear wires are made of 20 gauge Argentium, or .935 silver. Both the flower and the chamsa are often used as talisman. The flower represents beauty and life, whilst the chamsa (spelled many different ways), also known as the hand of Fatima, is a symbol of protection from the evil eye. These are about 2.75" long and weigh 6 grams each.
Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
