Vintage Baloch Beaded Pocket Embellishment 11" x 5.5" (#5984)
Vintage, beaded embellishment that is sewn around a pocket opening on a traditional Baloch dress. Approximately 11" by 5.5" There are some stray threads and an aged appearance. There most likely was a fringe, possibly made of little dangles and beads, but it is no longer there. There are two little dangles still attached on one edge. You could use this as home decor, add to clothing, or use it for any of your other imaginative projects. The Baloch (Balochi, Beluch, Baluch) are from the Balochistan region of Pakistan. Their arts may appear similar to other tribal arts from Central and South Asia due to regional influences, but they have a distinct culture that is their own.
