This is a handmade, vintage, beaded embellishment that is sewn around a pocket opening on a Baloch tribal dress. This is big - it's about 14" by 6". This piece is missing three mirrors and some fringe - visible in photos. The beading appears intact. This is made using a netting technique and not on a loom. You could use this as home decor, add to clothing, or use it for any of your other imaginative projects. The Baloch (Balochi, Beluch, Baluch) are from the Balochistan region of Pakistan. Their arts may appear similar to other tribal arts from Central and South Asia due to regional influences, but they have a distinct culture that is their own.
