Vintage Baloch tribal necklace with ten beautiful, accented coin pendants. This is from Balochistan, a tribal region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. This is a stunning piece. Each pendant has stylized hamsa dangles and a mix of green, red, and/or blue settings. There is a string of light blue beads running through all the dangles - this adds some color, but also keeps everything attached and laying flat. There are also petite s-loop connectors that attach the dangles to each coin bail. These add another bit of color. From end-to-end the cord is 26" long. The jewelry portion is 7.5" wide. You can tie to adjust to your size. This is strung on an old piece of fabric. There is visible stitching and some dusty debris on the string. All the components appear intact but are worn due to age and use. This is a lovely example of Baloch tribal jewelry.
