Vintage Kuchi Fabric Remnant Buttons and Lightweight DIY Findings (#8482)
Vintage Kuchi fabric remnant with two rows of silver-tone buttons and a row of lightweight accents. The lightweight accents are lightweight and a little shiny - most likely contemporary findings. This is 28" wide by 3" tall, approximately. Things to note about the condition of this vintage remnant - there is at least one missing accent as well as a missing button, and several of the accents are irregular. There are some stray threads and faded backing. No obvious missing beads. This is a handmade tribal item traditionally worn by the nomadic tribes of Pakistan and Afghanistan also known as "Kuchi". Much like the term, "Banjara", "Kuchi" refers to a lifestyle and does not define one particular tribe.
Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
