Set of eight vintage Baluch beads from Quetta Valley, Baluchistan. This is a mixed lot of beads that consist of four that are similar, two that are a pair, and two individually unique beads. The openings are big - about 5mm. The four beads are an oxidized brass color. The pair, as well as one of the individual beads, are an oxidized silver tone. The other bead is a dark oxidized silver color. Typically the metal used is an alloy that contains zinc and copper so the variation in color differs due to age, origins, and wear. These look great as spacers between big, chunky items but they also work well with smaller findings. Often this kind of bead is found on traditional Baloch jewelry or tassels. You'll receive all eight beads.
Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
