Amazing pair of vintage tribal hair jewelry/tikka for attaching to braids, headdresses, or to other adornment. These are about 9" long. Not overly heavy - each one weighs under 2 ounces/56g. The metal is aged and oxidized - most likely made of brass. The hoops are not worn through ear piercings in spite of the earring-like appearance. When the hooks are attached to the hair. the hoops fall to about ear level. If you do wear these as earrings for your stretched lobes, these are comparable to 11g or 2.3 mm. There are some little indentations on the dome portion and the red settings have scuff marks from use.
Different monitors and phone apps show colors differently. I do my best to accurately document color using both photos and written descriptions. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
