Large, well-worn, hard-to-find, vintage Turkmen pendant. Has a bell shape but there is no chime. On the bottom is a decorative flower with chipped red beads as color. The center of the flower is made from bits of round metal. Traditional serpentine wirework around the middle of the bead and coiled wire around the bail. This is about 2.75" long with a 5" circumference. Beautiful pendant from Northern Afghanistan's ethnic Turkmen population.
The metal is a gray/tan/silver color. There is surface wear, patina, dusty crevices, and an aged appearance.
