Oxidized, well-worn, hard-to-find, vintage Turkmen pendant. Has a bell shape but there is no chime. On the bottom is a decorative flower with a red center - the petal are missing their jewels. Traditional serpentine wirework around the middle of the bead and coiled wire around the bail. This is about 2.5" long with a 5" circumference. Beautiful pendant from Northern Afghanistan's ethnic Turkmen population.
The metal is dark and oxidized. There is verdigris evident, as well as surface wear, dusty crevices, and an aged appearance.
