Vintage, hand-embroidered, Uzbek saya (saye) gosha - sometimes also called "segusha". Made on black fabric with bright, colorful accents, including pink, orange, and white. There is sparkly metallic trim as well. You can see the handstitched details from the back. Traditionally this would have been draped across a doorway or displayed on bedding. There is a visible seam on the front and back where two pieces were sewn together.
Measurements: The length of each section is 26.5" to the center. The textile is 7.5" tall with the fringe adding a few more inches.
