Large, unique, vintage tribal pendant from the tribal region of Waziristan, located between Pakistan and Afghanistan. In the center is a foil-backed piece of orange glass. There is one bud on the top and a series of jingling baubles. This is a big pendant - 8" long by 5" wide. It makes a jingle with movement as the baubles bounce off each other. The sound is used as a means to ward off the evil eye.
Vintage piece with surface wear, patina, and some darkened crevices. However, the metal is overall clean with a burnished sheen. This weighs 8 ounces.
