Small old tribal beaded patch with a felted animal hair backing that is quite thick. Evil eye diamond-shape pattern. There aren't any obvious missing beads but the felted backing is visible. Traditionally used as adornment on textiles or clothing by the nomadic tribes of Pakistan and Afghanistan, collectively known as "Kuchi". This is a handmade item from a tribal culture. The pattern has specific meaning to the maker but the evil eye pattern is used to keep harm at bay. 2.75" x 2.25".
