I sourced this vintage Banjara tribal belt from Gujarat, India, Kutch region. This is 36.5" wide and does not adjust. Fastens with the original pin screw. Made from a brass alloy - the color of the metal is a tan/gray/beige tone. There is surface wear, patina, and signs of age, including some dusty crevices.
No broken links, nothing out of place - ready to be worn!
The pin tightens by turning it opposite to what you would normally turn when tightening something. This weighs about 11.5 ounces! It's hard to emphasize that belts like this are not only hard to find, but harder to find fully intact - so gorgeous!
