I sourced this vintage Banjara tribal belt from Gujarat, India, Kutch region. This is 35" wide and does not adjust. Fastens with the original pin screw. Made from a brass alloy - the color of the metal is a tan/gray/beige tone with visible verdigris. There is surface wear, patina, and signs of age, including some dusty crevices.
No broken links, nothing out of place - ready to be worn!
The pin tightens by turning it opposite to what you would normally turn when tightening something. Heavy - this weighs nearly 14 ounces! It's hard to emphasize that belts like this are not only hard to find, but harder to find fully intact - so gorgeous!
